This was the first re-work of my wristlet pattern. I liked the contrast of the green with sharp black suede and white stitching (the stitches were too crooked for me though!)This was the second – I made the flap longer & used a magnetic snap instead of the turn lock. This was the final version with the longer flap and magnetic snap closure. This is another carrying option – a single chain.
Sans flat top (awesome for going around corners and such!)
I really like my post machine, but sometimes I’d prefer a larger surface to sew my big flat pieces…so I created this little beauty. A box just the right size with a little inside support and a hole cut in the top did the trick.
Like magic or too ghetto? Dunno, but it works (uh, did I just jinx it?)
Brown garment leather shoes with calico print interior and red satin “laces.”Fleece lined plaid cotton blend uppers with black satin “laces”Fleece lined cotton Mary Janes with daisy button accents.Cotton lined pink felt bunnies.
I had been shoe shopping before I began class at leather school and picked up these little beauties…
I absolutely LOVE this shoe shop in Florence! Their selection is amazing and the people extremely helpful. (Angiolo Benigni – Calzoleria “La Fiorentina”)I just had to have a bag to match, so I made this little over the shoulder bag. The bow comes off so I can add other accents and wear with more than one pair of patent shoes. Genius!?The light colored interior has a zippered pocket.
